mine have done that a handful of times in its lifetime, but after playing with the wiper switch for a minute, it always corrects itself

I'll see what happens tonight when I leave from work. This morning they had a mind of their own. When I'd push the lever down to mist and release, they would get about half way up the windshield and stutter and then stop. I'd have to hit the mist again to get them to go back down. Also, when I turned the wipers on low they would work ok but when I'd turn them off, they would keep right on going....
