Default Windshield washer pump replacement

Anyone have a write up on how to replace a windshield washer fluid pump? I don't here the pump running when I hit the button so my guess is that the pump is shot.

In the washer fluid reservoir.........you can confirm it'* the pump, if it makes no noise when you turn it on...... then disconnect two wire harness from pump, and attach a test light to it ....if light comes on when you hit the switch for the washer, then pump is bad....if it doesn't come on, you need to check the circuit back to the switch...

So the resrvior needs to be removed and then the pump is inside correct? Any tips for this job? Seems like it could be tight.

On my 2001 SE the washer fluid reservoir and pump can be accessed through the passenger side wheel well. The pump is external to the tank. You just twist the pump and pull out to remove. The nipple of the pump sets inside a rubber screen in the tank. When I first got my car the pump would run but no fluid would come out. I found the screen was pluged with crap. That'* how I know about the pump removal.

You have to lift the passenger side front end, remove the front passenger wheel, remove the lower front wheel well skin which is held on by seven plastic reusable pop rivets (they remove with screwdriver into little slot) and you will have easy access to washer fluid pump.
