soundsn lke the regulator to me. try putting the window up manually by hand. If the regulator is good you should not be able to pull the window up. if the regulator is bad you'll be able to easily pull it up when you have one hand on each side of the glass and you pull up...

Default rear window

this happened to me about three weeks ago nd i took the door panel off and found out tht the regulater and the motor were fine but the wire that pulls the window up and down had started to fray and the wire wouldn't go through the pulley system.

i don't use the back windows so i just push the window up by hand and put a screw
in the track under the door panel , been that way for 2 years now , back windows stay up and water tight.

I did pretty much the same, except instead of using a screw, I used a clamp right below the window.

The clamp I used was the bigger 2" size paper clamp you find in most offices. :P I did this almost a year ago, and it'* still holding.

Here is the step-by-step complete with pictures for removal of the rear door panel, and replacement of the window regulator.
