Window regulator experience...
A few of you asked me to post my no-tape, no-dealer window regulator (pass rear) replacement experience (broken cable)... the right tool and a fast experienced repair service made all the difference. Here'* what helped:
Clip-Zip tool made the door panel removal painless (about $30, took 3 days to come):
http://equalizer.com/mm5/merchant.mv...egory_Code=12b
removed regulator as per service manual instructions - tools used include 10mm socket wrench, plastic wedge (door handle surround, top sides of door panel), razor blade (water shield) needle nose pliers (door pull clips)
while it was out, window was propped-up with a 22 in long, 1.5 in diameter PVC pipe inside the door, as per another poster'* suggestion; to get the window all the way up, I shimmed with typical builders wood shims
sent to Alexander in Brooklyn, NY for repair:
http://regulatorusa.com/
$10 to ship, cost $85, he repaired and return shipped the exact same day
tested, then reinstalled regulator, works fine...
pm if you'd like to know more...

there is an extensive article in techinfo about how to repair the window regulators for nearly free on these cars.
