I was thinking of some type of guide, or alignment pin. For what? I don't know.

If anyone actually held this you could tell it isnt made to grind. Its not THAT aggressive, definatly made to grip the end with your fingers.

Could it be a tool for pushing a pin into a hole? Are there any little specialized tools transmission builders use?
