Default What plugs did 00'* come with?

I pulled what I thought to be my original plugs/wires this weekend (with the help of Jake) and saw that NGK'* were in there. Seems strange, because I was expecting Delcos. Maybe this old man that owned it before me was told NGK is performance or some garbage.

they were prolly replaced at by a comparable plug made by NGK

I had the same reaction when I pulled my original plugs (NGK... not Delco )
I later saw that my ’00 FSM calls for the NGK PTR4B-15 for the L67 and Delco for the L36.

Hm...k.

These may have been originals then because they were FRIED! (caps means emphasis)

Either way the car runs a lot stronger and starts quickly.

Did you wear out your forearm removing the rear boots and plugs?

Jake ripped the boots off with his tool and I stretched like rubberman to get the plugs out.

I was reusing mine and the effort to remove the boot was surprising. I should have replaced the wires it would have been easier.
