Default Water in my trunk lid

With all this rain we have been getting I'm getting water in my trunk lid. When I pop the trunk the water gushes out from the bottom of the lid. I don't know if its the seal or if maybe its leaking down through the spoiler.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Default water leak

I have the same problem on my 00 ssei and i found it to be the spolier. i took it to the body shop and they replaced the gasket and resealed the spolier and it fixed the problem. but first cheack to see if the spolier is bowed from heat and cold it is only fiberglass and they tend to bow in the heat and cold. but otherwise cheak the gasket and replace as need.

Its easy to fix the spoiler leak.
Remove the trunk lining then 5 each 10mm bolts, you will need a deep socket.
Use a piece of dental floss to cut the spoiler off (cut thru the silicone).

Now clean up the trunk lid and spoiler of old sealer, wash and wax everything and re-apply new silicone and bolt it down.
