Warranty/recall on window regulators
I have a rear window on my 00 SSEI were the wire is all tangeled up on the regulator and it won't roll up or down. I know this has been a problem on almost ALL 00-03 Bonnevilles. The other side went out 6 months ago and I got it replaced under warranty.
Does anyone know if GM has a recall for this since this can be a safety hazard. I'm afraid that when I spend $300 to repace it, what guarantee do I have that it won't happen again-or are the new ones inproved?

Sorry there is no recall, ask the shop if there is any warranty after they replace it. I replaced my own and the parts are a bit different but still the same crappy design.
