Rogue, it should take only ONE WSS to disable that portion of your statement. Unless all 4 are working, the system is in a fault condition. Unless this is a totally different type of animal that will let the systems stay active with only 3 WSS active.

Mark, thanks for the rundown on the TC explanation. I was under the impression that it was ONLY TM, but it appears it still uses applied braking if that's not enough.

While the fault condition is triggered when 1 WSS fails the PCM does continue to monitor ALL WSS data (for use with tire pressure low sensors etc...) and IMHO any data getting to the PCM that it can use against you is bad. In fact beyond this I also pull the Parking Brake detect switch.

that is known as Torque Management....an aftermarke tPCM removes all the TM

If you lightly press on the brakes, just enough to activate the brake lights, then try spinning the tires. It disables the timing retard and the abs from kicking on.
It works on my 97 bonneville, a 95 aurora, a 2000 bonneville SSEi, and an 03 cadillac deville.

I only disconnected my fronts and parking brake but left the rears connected the last two years at Woodburn. Worked for me. :?

when i change the connector on my WSS.. can i do the mod to run a switch to the front WSS's to make a better TC switch... hell could i even hook it up to the stock TV button?
