yes, the WSS are quite self explanitory, if you have your wheel off, there is a connector going to the wheel hub/steering knuckle.. just cut and put afuse in line with one of those wires

Fuse? mmm I'd disagree. Toasty means cut the wire and put a switch in place.

right, a fuse would do nothing. in my previous post i mentioned putting a switch in line with the ABS fuse, as an alternate solution

Sorry...I was confused with the WSS talk.

There seem to be two ways.
1. Cut and add a switch to a WSS wire
2. Cut and add a switch to the ABS wire.

correct. those are the only 2 ways that i know of, and probably by far the simplest

Not sure this is going to fly guys. ABS isn't as closely related to TC on the 2k+ bonnevilles. TC uses TM in the PCM, not applied braking. Disabling ABS may have no effect on the TC whatsoever.

92-95 Bonnevilles COULD do this. But not the 2k+.

True, when wheel slip is detected w/o brakes applied, the EBCM will request the PCM to reduce torque by retarding spark timing & turning off fuel injectors. If engine torque reduction does not eliminate wheel slip, the EBCM will actively apply the drive wheel brakes. This is a brief summary of the FSM Description of Operation for Traction Control.

i pulled my ABS fuse when i dynoed my car, and not a WSS, and i had no problems with the computer controls on the dyno, and i left a 30 foot 2 wheel black mark outside the shop, so yes, pulling the fuse will be good.

but splicing a switch into the WSS will allow you to temporarily disable the traction control without any ill-effects right? Will there be any lights/codes as a result?

you will see the trac off light on the dash light up.....and possible the ABS one also....

An aftermarket PCM that removes ALL the torque management AND removing all the wheel speed sensors is the only way to totally stop the car from producing maximum power in a burnout.
