Default Trunk Inflator Retrofit--Is this Possible?

What would be involved with this retrofit of an SE? I've located a 2003 donar SSEi. I remember a post where itsnitro pulled back his SE'* trunk mat and found a blue hose, thinking it was probably an air hose, but since it was an SE, went no further. He never really got an answer about whether it was possible to retrofit. Just curious. I'm always looking for a challenge, especially if it involves hanging out in my garage.

Thanks.

A retro fit is most likely possible. You'd need a manual schematic of the wiring and hose routing. Then you should be able to duplicate it.

What components would need to be pulled from the donar car?

All the ones you deem necessary from looking at the manual.

I assume from looking at my car there'* a few hoses, fittings, wiring and modules. Not sure if it interfaces with your computer...everything else on the 00+'* are tied in.

I have the auto leveling. To my knowlege, all 2000+ models do, regardless of trim level.

im assuming that you would need to T off of the lines that go to the air struts, and then run a line to the inflator.....but you would have to find a way to select between the struts and the inflator...it can be done....like mentioned before you need to get a FSM and read the description of the ELC and its functions...

oh and BTW there are many members looking for 00+ parts, and almost NO yards have anything....you may be able to help
