If you would, let us know what you find. I directed another member in a different thread to watch this one.

I will let you know about my result, but I can not find the left actuator or any bonneville in my county that has an automatic climate control system.

The manual system may use the same actuator with it being controlled differently. I'm not 100% sure on that, however.

That link to Rock Auto shows the actuator you'll need. ACDELCO Part # 1572972 {#89018375}

I tried a new left temp actuator.... didnt make a difference...I am now trying the mode actuator, I will keep you updated, I will finish up this investigation tomorrow. Everything seems to be working alright so far, so I don't even know if there is anything wrong. You can call me crazy but I charged my air conditioning two days ago. The air coming out of the passenger side is frigid! ... just feels like air blowing on the driver side... no A/C.... I don't know I have been working in this stupid car upside down all day... I will get back to ya tomorrow.

Just doing some research... has anyone had any luck replacing the temperature sensors in the vents, upper or lower?

Do you have the dual-zone? I ran into this problem once. I did a head slap when I found out that someone fiddled with the passenger side temperature. It was adjusted to blow much warmer air than the driver side.

Yeah, I have the dualzone, but both ***** working independently, they way that they should. But I did notice one thing.... even on the defroster, where there are a left and right duct, it is much colder on the pass. side compared to the driver'* side...interesting... I am lost with this one. I already have it almost apart, wondering if I should get into the HVAC ducts or just give up. The Air conditioning when coming out of the normal vents is cool on the drivers side, but not cold. BUT it'* still a good 15-20 degree difference.

You were right, just keep adding the 134a... I ran my defrost with both motors un hooked, kept charging until it was in the blue (good) area on the gage, and sure enough, it worked. The problem I had before, was that I was using a refrig. hose with no gage, I went and bought one this morning. Thanks to everyone.... now to putting the car back together.....
