Transmission suddenly slips between 1st and 2nd
Well I came out of class and jumped in my bonnie and put it in Drive and it didn't want to pull properly, so I let off the gas immediately for fear of burning up my transmission. I pulled the shift selector down into 1st gear and it took off just fine, but when shifting between first and second, the car slips horribly. What I don't understand is NO WARNING. It was doing fine when I parked it 2 hours before. Fluid looks brand new but is WAY TOO full from what I can tell. I have only had the car for a month or so. So now, I guess I am going to try a filter change and see if it helps. I am nervous as a ***** in church. I don't want to replace a transmission. Anyone have anything happen like this? J

If the level is too high it can aerate and cause slippage when the pump tries to pump air.
Get it to the right level, with a good filter and see what happens.

It'* a very common problem,
when you decide to add some bling, something else goes wrong
FYI, just in case
check fluid with vehicle warmed up and running, in park
