My overdrive went on my transmission today. Its getting rebuilt. I have a 2001 SLE. The trans is the 4T65E. My questions is, do all of them have the performance axel ratio of 3.05? Just wanted to make sure that there are not two versions of this tranny. This is my second trans and not very happy right now. Any suggestions about the rebuild or upgrades that I should be looking for would be great. Thanks again everybody.

I lost my 4th shaft and 3rd sprag last fall

I'm not entirely sure, but I believe the SLE, SSEi'* came with the 3.05 ratio as standard equip. Haven't had probs yet with my tranny. How many miles on yours?

1st trans 50k
2nd trans 92k

the SE and the SLE have the 3.05 and the SSEi has the 2.97

Nope, my 2k ssei has 3.05, you might have that backwards?
