This will show you a diagram of the suspension system. You have rear shocks, with the coil spring being more to the center of the car than where the shock attaches.

well i just drove 3 hours home tonight and found my ride to be worst then when i had a broken mount and bad struts...wierd.... seems as though when Im going over hills and the front end releases alittle load, is when i can feel the vibrations more then other times. Does this make sense to anyone?

have someone check the inboard cv joints,,,,a shimmy/ vibration upon acceleration or when working the suspension and goes away immediatley when u" let up of the gas" is a very good indicator of a worn inboard joint. they musy have zero play when "feeling of them",,,,hth
