This will show you a diagram of the suspension system. You have rear shocks, with the coil spring being more to the center of the car than where the shock attaches.

Suspension

I don't know what you may have already tried to find the cause, but has tire rotation been one?

well i just drove 3 hours home tonight and found my ride to be worst then when i had a broken mount and bad struts...wierd.... seems as though when Im going over hills and the front end releases alittle load, is when i can feel the vibrations more then other times. Does this make sense to anyone?

Check the top 3 bolts on the top of the strut tower to see if they're loose. Try lifting up on the car body while watching the top of the strut tower mounts. Is there any play there?

have someone check the inboard cv joints,,,,a shimmy/ vibration upon acceleration or when working the suspension and goes away immediatley when u" let up of the gas" is a very good indicator of a worn inboard joint. they musy have zero play when "feeling of them",,,,hth
