Well, it has been 4 yearssince I fixed my first transmission meltdown ( Planet and sun gears exploted) and now guess what. My transmission is gone again!!!! I really need to invest in some shoes with less lead content in them. They pulled the trans pan off and low and behold, pieces of metal lie in the bottom. The trans shop will be tearing it down this week to find the initiall cause. I will post details as they come in. When I had the trans fixed the first time I had the INTENSE trans upgrade kit installed. Maybe it is time to upgrade to a new car!! G8 sure looks nice!! Anybody know of anyone looking for a 2000 Bonneville?? New transmission and tires!!
