Default Time to replace yet another window regulator, AGAIN

So I have got a 2000 Bonneville SE, and the rear passenger window regulator went out yesterday. I went to barely open the window, and snapping and binding noises were heard with a window that won't roll up. I got it back up sort of for now, and it looks like I will be putting in yet another regualtor.

As I am sure you all know, these window regualtors are absolute CRAP in these cars (and GM wonders why people switch to others brands, it'* redicilous reoccuring problems like this). I have also realised this, after having to replace every window regualtor in this car so far except for this recent one over the past couple years. Now I guess I can say that I have replaced all of them. That'* good quality GM components right there for ya, all with a car that only has 56K miles

Have you guys found any kind of fix, or actual good quality replacent regualtors, that should last quite a long time in these cars? It'd actually be nice once in a while to be able to roll down the windows without having to worry about it not coming back up becuase of a crappy regualtor. Any help and reccomendations is greatly appreciated on finding a good replacement reguator, being in a chain autoparts store or online. Thanks

Guy at work had is 2008 Toyota Camry window fixed under warranty 3 or 4 times, it'* not just GM.

I've replace both back ones in my Bonneville, I don't think its the miles it'* the cable pulling out and breaking the 10 year old plastic.

You could fix the one you have so that it doesn't ever break again. Search on Regulator with an author of Archon. Info is here and ready for use.
