valve covers are easy, my fear is if its its an oil pan leak, you have to pull the engine to fix it. The oil filter is on the passenger side and that may be whats dripping, or its possible they replaced the timing chain and didnt get the timing chain cover on right and thats what leaking. Didn't you say you were getting a warranty with this though?

Also there seemed to be opssible another leak. There was a spot of oil behind the right wheel that dripped considerably while I sat in the parking lot giving it a once over. The spot was probably 4 inch circle. That is a considerable amount of oil given I only drove it about 3 blocks parked in a parking lot and revved the engine a little bit. How concerned should I be about that?
I am a fairly compentent person, and feel I would be able to handle the valave covers, I am just a little worried that there could be something seriously wrong with it, that I wouldn't be able to detect...

Thank you once again for everyone'* help and assistance. I will make sure it isn't coming from the oil pan prior to purchasing it. The reason I am concerned is because an oil leak doesn't fall underneath the warranty. So in that regard I would be SOL. If the engine seized or something drastic it would be covered, just not a leak. And I don't want to gamble that the engine will die in the 3 months, because knowing my luck it would kick the bucket at 3 months + 1 day and or 3001 miles. I call today to make an offer on it...
