Default Supercharger Pulleys Grenaded

I have seen that this tends to happen on the SSEi-I have a 2000.

How bad is it to drive the car without the SC belt? How long could I go?

I would like to make it to the weekend so I have time to fix them properly.

Thanks for your help!

I have seen many people mention this...it'* not just a Bonneville thing. It'* anything that has pullies.

How loud was the noise before you had the failure.

Bill is was a squeaking that last for about a day then yesterday the lower pulley in the middle just fell off in a parking lot. I took the belt off and drove it home.

Good ole #9 on the Dayco picture. The minute I hear the noise...I hit up a new pulley. They sometimes don't give any real warning. I call those the sneak attacks.

Nice thing is unlike the 96-99'*, you don't have anything in the way of the pulley.

I really did not notice a huge performance difference with belt off. Also the boost gauge is still seems to working exactly like it did with the belt on.

Is this an issue with the boost control solenoid???

The check engine light is not on.

The boost gauge is moving because it'* getting the readings from vacuum in the LIM. The supercharger is still turning, just freely.
