Is it leaking from the front and or rear corners of the sunroof? Or are you seeing water dripping from the actual headliner in those locations?

The drains tubes can get plugged with dirt and debris and or disconnected. The tubes can be accessed by pulling down the head liner. If the tube is still connected, a small clamp or zip ties to hold it in place for the future would be a good idea. Sometimes you can take a wire and push it through the tube to dislodge any debris. At worst, you need to pull the tubes out and replace them.

If the sunroof needs to be replaced. ZZperformance has them from time to time for the staggering price of $85 plus shipping.

Complete Moonroof/sunroof assembly from 97-03 Grand Prix'* and 04-05 Grand Prix'*. Complete means with motor, glass, wiring harnesses, rails, etc.--Everything! There are two versions. One is small and one is bigger. Choose what you want with the drop down.

To find out which one you have you have to lower the headliner and measure the black rail. One is around 27" long and the other is about 32" long.
Right now they have low stock level.

Default Thanks for the info

Thanks to everyone for the info.

I didn't get a chance to take a picture of the part that fell out or look to see where the part sits on the driver'* side.

I believe someone asked where the water is leaking. It leaks at the front corners of the sunroof. I don't see it on the headliner, but see water on the carpet in front of the passenger and driver seats. I was hoping possibly the adjustment the dealer made to the screws would solve the leaking but it hasn't. It leaks when there are heavy rains and any time I wash the car. I want my cars to be immaculate so it is frustrating that keeping it clean leads to water inside the car.
