Checked both 2000 SSEis, and neither have the pump, nor any of those RPO codes

this is puzzling... from what i can tell based on this information, is that all 3 of us have CA emissions cars for some reason (based on RPO findings)... but im still curious as to why the SSEis dont have the pump... and if MarkWB has CA emissions or not, and if 01+ SE/SLEs ACTUALLY have the pump, with and without CA spec.

Almost all 99 maximas are cali spec. obviously a different manufacturer of cars but it wouldn't surprise me if they both thought the same way.

interesting, i was thinking that since massachusetts changed emissions standards in either 1999 or 2000, that they started shipping california spec cars up this way to help cope with the strict guidelines that i believe are very close to that of california. that would start to make a little sense, but as far as i can tell that there is no definitive correlation until we can get some feedback from members with 2000 SE/SLEs

2001 SSEi - No pump. Big fat emptyness in that area...

Definitely weird. What would be the side effects of removing it?
