It seems that every time I start my car smoke comes up from right below where you put the oil in (exhaust manifold) smells like burning oil It only last for a few minutes then it is done once the car is warmed up I am guessing I got a leak going on some where (valve cover or as i have been reading maybe even the LIM) anyone got a guess on what i might have going on here

do you see any oil drops underneath the car? You could always tighten the valve cover first before you go ripping off the lower intake manifold...

no oil under the car not losing any antifreeze have been losing about a half a qt or so every oil change

hmmm... definitely try to tighten the valve cover...

ya the VC'* might be leaking, does it look oily around the general area?

ya it does might just change it out
