Default SLP Header install??

What is required to install these headers on a Bonneville?

Do you need a modified GP dipstick for the Tranny?

What other mods are required?

I know that several of you have installed TOG'* But I am really interested in the SLP design.

Please share your thoughts. :?

SLP owner here.

Get the install kit with clamps etc and the W body dipstick. The only other thing I did was add a 3" catalytic to keep from having the cat be the restriction.

Overall installation was easy. Remove old exhaust manifolds and downpipe/cat Install back header, then crossover, then front header piece in that order.

Thank you for the infromation.

I'd thought I found a used set, but they are for an 04 GTP and the Series III uses a different air system. Oh well maybe next time. :(

I would cross reference and make sure they are different.

Well..if you sope with them you sope with them...I'd quickly cross reference that year to the other years known that we use on the bonne and write it off.

Bill I miss-type, sorry... I hope that you know that I Spoke with SLP is what I was trying to type.

The problem is that the air systems are different on the Series III vs. a Series II header. Two different part nubmers; 30070 for a series II, and 30074 for a series III. Have any of you blocked of the EGR system (I assume that is the Air system SLP is talking about) so if the EGR port does not line up on the header, I think I could just block it off.

Bill what are your thoughts
