Hey all:

I have a 2000 Grand Am and had the sevice vehicle light soon light came on earlier this week. The next day I noticed one of the headlights is out. I'll change it and let you all know if the light resets.

Also, this car does have a change oil light as well. After you change the oil (after 3000 miles) you have to reset with a specific procedure ... ithe rest button is located by the fuses.

Yeah, same here. One of the things I miss from the previous generations. I don't remember any time when that light has come on, or anyone posting that it has.
