Thanks, It will take about two weeks for that to happen since it'* only driven 14 miles a day. The engine issue clears up intermittently now since the injector fluid was added. I will give it some time. Maybe it would be quicker to just take off the injector and clean it out.

I decided to swap the injectors since the car has been consistantly running rough and nothing changed. I swapped injector #1 (original problem cylinder) with another known good injector and performed the test of unplugging them individually to see if the idle would change hoping the problem would move to the other cylinder, but it did not. I still have the same problem with the same cylinder. What can I do now? Thanks for any advice.

Have you inspected that plug wire and coil?

The code is P0301 and the wires and plugs have been replaced. I performed the coil test, but did not swap any coils. I can do that next. Thanks

Give that a try and see if the problem follows.

OK, you moved the coil, what about the wire? Have you tried moving the spark plug? I've seen a few with cracked porcelain. You also moved the injector, but did you check the plug on the wire?

The plugs and wires are new. I checked the signal on the wire and I did get pulses. I don't know if the ground is good because I used the ground on the vehicle and not the wire. Do you know where the wires come from so I can check continuity?

I don't recall where the wires come from. But if your getting a pulse they should be fine. Move the plug anyways. I've seen bad plugs right out of the package.

I gave up and took the car into another repair shop that was willing to give me a free estimate. The shop checked plugs, wires, compression, injectors and finally the wiring to the injectors and you were correct Dan when you said it can't be the PCM. It turns out that the harness to the injectors is bad and they will be replacing it tomorrow after they get one from the dealership. I know I saw pulses at the injector, but I used a ground different than the one in the harness. I will check it again after its fixed and see if there is a difference for future reference. I do appreciate your sticking with it. Thanks
