I've never replaced struts before.I'm pretty good with cars but have never done them before. My question is I bought the complete strut assembly, now do I need spring compressors or no? And what type of problems might I encounter while doing this besides the obvious rusted stuck bolts?

by complete strut assembly do you mean it has the strut, spring strut mount already put together or is it all in pieces or just the strut?

Yeah its all together already

then it'* drop in simple 2 large bolts and nuts at the bottom one 10mm bolt for the brake line and 3 - 13mm bolts at the top (each side)
