Default Replacement tires

My stock 235/55/17 RSAs are about ready to be replaced. I would like to go wider but maintain close to the same circumference to keep the speedometer calibration. I definitely need to stick with the 17s.
Any suggestions?

I went with 255/45/17 no problems with stock pcm. Tires dont rub at all while turning or hitting bumps.

That was the size I was thinking of but when I went to tirerack, they said they didn't carry anything in that size. Whose tires are yours?
