Default Replaced rear shocks and mounts and now have noise!

I replaced my rear shocks and mounts with Monroe brand for both shock and mount and now there is a slight clunking noise coming from the rear.

I torqued the shock to mount nut to the 18 ft/lbs as specified but maybe it needs to be tighter?

Thanks for any info!

Did all of the spacers and bushings come with either the new strut or mount, or did you have to re-use some of them? Were they all reinstalled? I had a noise after replacing mine, by that was due to poor isolation with the new less expensive mounts that I bought. I would think the Monroe'* would not have that problem. I wouldn't recommend going over the recommended torque settings. The noise was not there before replacing the shocks and mounts?

Yes all spacers came with the mounts. The bushing was already in the mounts.
No, I did not have any noise before installation which leads me to beleive that I might have missed tightening something. I will have to revisit all fasteners tomorrow to check them.
