Default Remove tank for pressure sensor change?

For those of you who have replaced the fuel pressure sensor, I wondered whether it requires removing the gas tank. A diagram on the GM Parts Direct site shows this pressure sensor "on top of" the tank.

Thank you,

Open your trunk, pull back the finsh panels. You'll see a round access panel. The panel is locked down with a cam system.

Before you do the work, pull the fuse for the pump and then start your car to relieve pressure in the fuel lines. Then disconnect the negative battery cable and proceed with the pump/sendor removel.

Kevin,

All right; good news. At least there is a way into the tank without removing it completely. Thanks for the reply.
