ok.. is there anyway that i can keep my stock HU and add preamp outputs to add a system?? and keep the onstar, door chime and crap??

you need speaker line level inputs that attach to your speaker wire and then go to your amp

ok i found these line output converters. i wanna put a nice system in my ca...like 400-600watt speakers. 2 different amps bridged out. do i need 2 converters?? will i be able to do that much watts?? ive read on one t he it can take 30watts RMS. HELP!! im going nuts without my system.

You can get a line converter for about $20 at Best Buy or Circuit City, or evan Wal-Mart!. Very easy to install, and it will allow you to keep the head unit and add subs, etc.

You might check the Audio Board for more info...lots of people have done it.

I don't see why you would need two converters unless you want to customize the gain into each add-on accessory.. You can probably split the output from the single converter to feed dual amps.
