QUESTION..TIME SENSITIVE...PLEASE HELP!
Ladies and Gents,
Need your help. I hava SES light on and I know the codes, however I was wondering if there is a way to reset the light without a scan tool so that the light isn't on when I go to the dealer. Is there a circuit breaker reset button to take care of this issue? Thanks!

But how long until it comes back on? The problem won't have been fixed...I just need this to work temporarily to get my car appraised by the dealer.

You can disconnect the battery for about 10 minutes, give or take a few, and then reconnect and start. Should be enough to reset the computer. We do that at work when some peon in the shop is using the scanner.

Thanks
Fellow Bonny Owners,
Here'* the deal. Took my car in two days ago to have the intermediate steering shaft replaced (AGAIN) and a bulb replaced and my fan in my HVAC was making a loud noise. Bottom line, I was expecting 800-1000 total. Here'* what they found:
Lower Intake Gasket (leak) needs replacement w/ t-stat and gasket = 925.00
90,000 Mile Service (spark plugs, tranny flush, new fluids, etc.) = 475.00
Tail Lamp Bulb =15.00
Ignition Wires need replacement = 175.00
3 Ignition Coils rusted need replacement = 425.00
Blown Fan Motor (HVAC) = 350.00
Intermediate Steering Shaft w/ Wheel Sensor needs replacement = 500.00
EGR Valve needs replacement = 350.00
Total = $3215.00 to fix my car. I've already invested $2500.00 since warranty expried and tranny was replaced during warranty. I just can't justify spending 3215.00 for the car when it has 99,700 miles and may have more problems later. I'm just trying to conceal as much as I can (SES light) until I can offload it at a dealership. Just really pissed right now.
