Possible valve cover gasket?

Sorry to dig this back up but I saw 2 kits at the local parts store one for $13.99 and the other for almost $60. Only real difference was the $60 one had grommets and the other kit just had the gaskets. Should I get the one with the grommets or is the other one just fine?

No way is it $13...that is probably grommets only.

You'll want the gaskets and grommets. Yes..they are expensive.

And here is the gasket kit with grommets, for $49.99

The only difference seems to be the gommets which add about $36. Either way $50 isn't too bad just wanted to know if I really needed the grommets or not?

The $13 ones are for an L36 aka the w/o Turbo designation. Take a look at the shape. the 465R gaskets are the ones you want. There are spots for the fuel injectors in the heads.

Gotcha! Guess I did not play close enough attention and figured they would have the same design of VC since the L36 and the L67 look similar in some respects but I guess they are not as similar as I thought.
