I Just Changed my headlight setup from 8000K to 6000K HID
I just changed my HID headlight set up from 8000K and OEM Halogen factory bulbs in the FOGS to 6000K HID and 5000K Amber Halogen Bulbs in the Fogs.
Which set up do you think looks better on my car? thanks

BELOW IS THE NEW 6000k SET UP I DID TODAY:
Tell me what you think looks the best 8000K OR 6000K?

Are they really illegal? I wondr why? I've seen newer cars with the stock HIDs that look just as bright, So whats the difference?

I believe the legallity of HIDs are when retro fitting them into halogen housings. With the extra heat and power they emit and need can cause problems. But thats just my guess.

Theyre "illegal" because the stock housings are designed to reflect a broad light pattern, all OEM HID'* are in projector housings that throw the light in a narrow pattern farther out than ours. I've never been hassled about my lights. I'm more partial to the 6000K set-up. I look forward to seeing pics when you get the fogs hooked up.
