Default hid conversion headlight bulbs?

i can probably answer my own question on this but.....has anybody seen these hid conversion bulbs on ebay. supposedly they put out hid light but just plug into your stock harness? seems a little far fetched to me.

They work yes but its always a good idea to use a relay harness to power them instead of relying on the factory wiring.

Edit: are you talking about the kits with ballasts or the bulbs that are exactly like the 9006 bulbs? If its the ones without ballasts, no those will not be the same as HIDs

X2.....get the one with ballasts and the wiring harness. Several of us have used the sets that DDM Tuning have and we've been happy with them.

yeah i believe that they are the one without the ballasts that claim the same light as hid. they're on ebay. ive done some of the kits with the ballasts and the harness and they are nice kits and work well. im probably gonna stick with my silverstar ultras but i was just curious.

yeah dont get the ones without the ballast, you'll be downgrading, did that mistake before
they look like normal light bulbs but coloured in blue, waste of ten bucks dont bother

if you want true HID light buy the ones with the ballast, they start around 50 or 60 bucks on ebay and you can work your way up from there.. been running hids in my cars for the past 5 or 6 years, ill never go back to halogen

Like mentioned above, go with a kit from DDM tunning...I am running there products myself...DDM tunning'* raptor HID kits are like $30 plus shipping...with lifetime warranty. That is cheaper than you will pay for silverstars that will go out within a year...I have been running HID'* for over 2 years and like SamzGXP above, I also will NEVER go back to halogen bulbs again..there is no comparison what-so-ever
