that pesky intermediate steering shaft connedtion
Can any one tell me, so I don't look like an idiot at the dealer, is it possible that in replacing my spent steering shaft thing a ma jig if my steering wheel was removed? I assume it was as my wheel is now crooked to the left as I drive straight. Why wouldn't they mark the spline so this wouldn't happen? Thanx a lot!!

There would be no reason for the steering wheel to be removed to replace the intermediate steering shaft. With the flats on both the steering column, and the steering gear, it would seem unlikely that would be the cause. Did they do any other work on the front end?
