Well I can't answer the first question yet.....I just recieved an email from Hypertech'* Technical Support & they told me they haven't got any spicifics yet as to parameters & release date. I can tell you though, that Hypertech has assured me that I'll be contacted DIRECTLY when it does become available. I've already recieved pricing as per their price list released to my supplier. You don't have to pre-pay, but If you want to reserve yours now then you can. I've got about 4 others interested in this unit so far too. when it does become available, it will take about 4 weeks to get the product on a normal stock shipment from my supplier or for additional cost, it can be shipped faster too. If you do decide to pre-order this product & later decide to cancel your request, you may do so without ANY penalty & will recieve a FULL refund.

I don't like having $600 Cdn tied up with PayPal for an indefinite period. :(

Hmmmm.......DHP or Hypertech??? Same price approximately, and similar mods.
Well you know what they say.
A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

I understand fully! I just wish Hypertech would get off it'* "butt" and release this product already! I've got some anxious customers who want it for their Bonneville as an alternative to a programmed PCM that can't be changed if you need "warranty" work done at the Dealership!

I have contacted them numerous times over the last year and nothing yet.

I plan on keeping my original PCM and forfeiting the $125 core charge just in case I ever need to go back.
That'* why I figured that into the price comparison.

Hmmm.....maybe that'* why C-Ya isn't around anymore....he only charged $75. for the core and maybe he never got any back.

Can't speak for "C-Ya" though....BUT, Hypertech has a new 2004 Catalog just out last week & that'* where I got the info for the Programmer from.

Well, I too have made my decision.

Rat, let me know when the Programmer is available.

The power programmer gives you the ability to accept a optimized configuration for different octane ratings as well as change the settings manually (fan temps, etc). The "default" allows you to revert back to your OEM setting. The whole process takes less than 15 minutes. Personally its worth it: I don't want to have to take out my CAI and fool with that delicate PCM harness (imo) everytime I want to revert back to OEM settings, in addition to not be able to change one or two settings with the DHP/C-Ya/Whoeverelse reprogram is worth the differnce to the Hypertech solution.

Man you guys are pulling the trigger fast here.

Can't wait for my DHP. Ya know mremer DHP does sell a $50 -free-re-flash if the dealer ever resets it. The programmer does have some cool functions though,

Rogue & Silver, when did ZZP & Intense say they'd have your PCM to you guys. I wanna hear the results.

I guess you can blame my decision on me being a control freak...
