Oh, that would be C-Ya Racing. Looks like a winner at $299 + $75 core.

Would someone please enlighten me with a locationg to get either? I would rather go with the reprogramming part, but would like info on both. Also, about that SC boost solenoid, will all performance chips bypass that and will a reprogrammed PCM too? Any information on this subject would be great as I am getting ready to buy a 3.4" pulley and do some performance work. Then its on to getting 20'* for the boat.. BTW.. I have a 2000 Bonne SSEi.

Thanks,

The nice thing about their device is that you can GO BACK TO FACTORY PROGRAMMING, and/or customize your programming. Head over to hypertech.com and check it out. Call them and tell them you want it for you car, we've already sent a few people from here to put some fire under their buts...

When released, it should be close in cost to the other services that are advertised for our vehicles (reprogrmming)

I looked everywhere on Hypertech'* website for info about a Bonneville. Did you read this on there or hear about it from word of mouth? If you did get it from their website, could you hit me up with a link? If not, I will just give them a call and get some information.

DeathRat:
I am also interested in hearing about your solution. Let us know the details. I am just looking for a little more than a pulley. My friend has a '96 GTP with a pulley, CAI, exhaust and a reprogrammed pcm and that car is a rocket.. I know with my car being bigger and heavier, it wont perform as well, but I would love that feeling that I get in my friends Grand Prix.
I'm now in the position to offer Hypertech'* own Power Programmer Stage III for any Bonneville 2000 - 2003. I'm taking pre-orders at this present time, awaiting the actual release date of this item from Hypertech.
Here'* the link to the item on my Store for more info: Power Programmer Stage III

Does the programmer overwrite the factory default settings? I don't know much about the controller chip on the PCM, but it must be a PROM where the alignable constants reside (cooling fan high/low speed enable temperatures as one example only) I saw on your website some of the other parameters that can be re-configured also. I guess they can be re-aligned to default.

It'* just a "Plug-N-Play" type of Programmer! Plug it in & set up your parameters & then PLAY! Unplug it & your car reverts back to the GM Factory Defaults!

When do you expect the release and delivery?

Pardon me if I'm a little reluctant after my burn with ADTR Jet performance module that didn't work.

I'm a little confused when you say just unplug it and revert back to normal.
All of the Hypertech modules I've seen, plug into the under dash diagnostic port so the new program is downloaded into your PCM and then it is unplugged. It stores the original data in its memory which can be later downloaded back in.
Each programmer is specific to only one VIN # so it can't be swapped between different cars.

I also have not been able to get in touch with C-Ya Racing......maybe big brother GM caught wind of his competition.

I have touched base with ZZP and they can offer a basic DHP module that replaces the original PCM for $299. + a $125 core charge. All US$$
