A colder engine does not mean it'* making more power.

Tim.. Either an INTENSE or regular stat will do fine by you for winter. We'll probably be modding your car come spring.

Haro..most likely you are throwing the code because you have holes drilled in your Tstat and aren't getting up to temp fast enough.

All things being equal, a colder engine WILL make more power.

to a certain degrees yes but heat is horsepower cold engine and cold air is different

engine at 180 degrees whit air intake at 40 degrees that going to give you more horsepower too cold of a engine whit take more fuel cause plug fouling and make lest horsepower

Yes, of course. I'm assuming that the engine has been warmed up properly so the rings and bearings have expanded symetrically with the engine block and it is in closed loop.
