My car doesn't have the power it used to and exhaust/intake mods has made it worse. I went to go look at the ignition coil and plugs today and found a nice little puddle of oil. I also noticed that the coolant seems to be darker on the bottom. I gave the car a shake and the two colors mixed together. I let it sit and the two colors seperated again. Any ideas? Head gasket? Thanks.........





The car only has 41,234 miles on it.

Check the rear of your intake near plug #6, could be the intake gasket.
Also dip a stick into that coolant res and look for oil, doesnt look good to me?

Would it be the upper or lower intake? I noticed both valve cover gaskets look wet also. Theres two guys at work that think the leak and wettness are from the Mobil1 oil. I used Mobil1 in my previous Explorer for 82,000 miles with no leaks at all. Anyone else think that the oil started the seepage? The car goes into the dealer on Thursday. Thanks.........
