I know this is going to sound crazy. I must ask anyway.

Is there any kind of link between the electric truck release and the windshield washer?

Both of these features quit often and @ the same time.
The trunk release will not work from the key fob or from the push button in the glove box.

Everyday when leaving work, i'll try my trunk release If it works, my washer will work. if it doesn't work, my washer will not. My wipers work, but the washer does not.

i've tested this for over a year now.

Any ideas on what to look for?

It would help to know what kind of vehicle we are talking about, but my first guess would be a ground buss.

My thought as well, check the grounds.
