not F'n happy right now,
ran into the paint shop today to find out how much it would cost to repaint the front bumper (previously never mentioned here) anyway, I parked on a down ward hill ran in to talk to the guy about paint matching for mere SECONDS, I get back into my car to find the BACK WINDO IS DOWN! WTF is this?! I guess my regulator is "BAD"
I thought (silly me) that the windos were supposed to be down for this to malfuntion? I NEVER EVER use the back windos the Drivers side is down and out now, I really don't care if it operates any longer but, I need to get it back up will I have to buy a new reg to fix this?
Oh, and someone backed into my car and left a nice little scar chip on the drivers side right between the foglamp and headlight, I guess I just can't remain clean for too long not with so many haters/college drunks around town.

It doesn't seem to matter whether the window is used or not.. The plastic cracks and the cable pulls through. You have a few choices. Repair it per the procedure here:

Buy a new one on EBay, or just clamp the window in place.
Talk about bad luck...

I just jammed a piece of wood in there until I could do the fix from tech info. The tech info piece helped as my window still works to this day thank'* to Archon!

I just pull the window up manually by opening the door and grabbing the glass using palms of my hands - one inside and one outside.
Hold it in place with couple pieces of duct tape running from the outside of the glass, over top of frame and back down inside of glass.
This will get you by until you get time to mess with it.

thanks for the fast reply, I'm going to knock this out today (I felt terrified last night though) having a windo open isn't a good look in todays society especially with all that attraction my car brings :? I'll be doing this today and hopefully getting the foglamps installed today with pics.

Personally, I used a few large paper clamps on it, and it held up for over two years. Now it'* getting to the point where I need to get into it and reclamp it.
