What is that thing, and where on the bonny is it located? It looks like some type of plug or something.

It is a push-in retainer. They are used to hold various different things on. One of them being the cowl cover (between the hood & windsheild).

Your best bet on getting replacements would probably be the dealership. I would imagine that a bag of 10 might cost you like $3-4... Don't quote me on that though.

try pepboys or autozone...they have boxes of GM panel retainers on the shelves

If you end up having to buy a bag of like 10 or so of them and don't need them all, I could use like 2 or so of them. Stupid windshield repair place broke atleast 1 of them, but I found the parts and just superglued it back together.
