Default My Stealth Tails Mod for Black SSEi cars ONLY!

Here is my Stealth Tails Mod I did on my 2001 SSEi. This would only look good on black cars in my opinion.

You put in the chrome bulbs? Look chrome when off and amber when on, IMO looks way better on any car that you can see the amber through, I did just that on a 2009 Dodge Journey

thanks for the input. I have just started doing some basic mods to my bonneville ssei.
It has the amber bulbs in the taillights. I have seen the chrome but I agree with you I like the amber bulbs showing also.

When I said Tails I mean "Tail Pipe" not rear lens. My bad on the thread. The rear tail lights are all stock oem.

I like it... at first i was like... ok what did he do? but i see it now.. tailpipes more hidden vs bright and shiny sticking out for every one to see... just more of a subtle look with them being black too

did you paint them with good high heat paint or something else?

thanks for the comments, I painted them with a $5.00 spray can of Duplicolor Black Sandable Primer. Just Black Primer and they give the non-shiney flat black look I was looking for. No problem as far as heat or fade.

As I mentioned this is a good cheap mod for black cars.
