i have about 102K on my 2000 SE, and it only gets about 22 MPG! is that normal? i hear all of you mostly get around the upper 20'* to lower 30'*. i have a K&N filter and i just changed the 02 sensor. what else can i do to get better gas mileage?

Change fuel filter, new plugs, wires.

You think yours is bad??? I am only getting 14-17 mpg in my 1999 SSEi. I'm going to pull my 2k old NGK'* and check them. Also am going to get it scanned for codes. This sucks as it just had a complete tune-up 7-8k ago and I have put new plugs, wires, air filter, exhaust, t-stat and fresh trans in it in the last 5k. Up until last week it was getting in the low-mid 20'*.
I just put the new K&N filter on as well as the Magnaflow muffler, but the mileage had already dropped into the mid-high teens before them (had them installed Thursday after noon).
Oh, and the mojority (90%) of my driving is cruising to and from work on the freeway with the cruise set at 70-77 mph.

Back on topic, I'd suggest you replace the following:

PCV valve
Plugs (looks like you already have)
wires
Air filter
fuel filter
plug wires
t-stat

and run a can of Seafoam through and also run premium fuel through about every 3rd fill of gas.

Are you talking highway or all round? 3800'* aren't great in stop 'n' go. I only get around 16, but I drive like I stole the thing most of the time.

Back of the supercharger under the oval black cap with the two bolts.

Located on the aft right side of supercharger just inboard of egr. There is a square plate (access cover) with two hold down screws. Hold down the access cover (to arrest slight spring force) with your fingers when removing fasteners on access plate.

1. 22mpg around town and a little highway. I'd say that'* about right if you keep your foot out of it. In my 2001 SC I get about 23 round town in mid-winter and about 31 strictly highway mid-winter BUT I drive like I've got an egg under my foot. Just got it this winter so haven't seen what she'll do in warm weather.

2. Upper 20'* to lower 30'*? Not around town in a Bonne!

22 is about right, that'* what I get with mostly 55 MPH driving.
