Default Lower control arm

Has anyone experienced oil leaking from the bushings on a 2004 Bonneville SLE front lower control arm? Also, does anyone know if the bushings are replaceable? II appreciate any help.

I don't believe the lower control arm bushings have any oil in them (someone please correct me if I'm wrong) but they are replaceable yes. Does the oil look like green guacamole sauce? If so, you might be getting grease splatter from a torn CV boot.

I'm not aware of them being oil filled either. What symptom are you experiencing? Is it like Macdrive asked, or something else?

Default Lower control arm

Every morning a couple black spots are on the garage floor under the car directly below the right front lower conrol arm . I can touch it and see that it is oil. I can see into the bracket where the front of the right lower control arm is housed and I can see there is oil in there and oil dripping from the lower control bushing. I take a rag and clean all the oil out and the next morning there will be a drip on the floor. I looked all over and I can't see where anything can be splashing on to it. I appreciate you guys input.

Send a PM to 2000SilverBullet. He had a similar drip for 2 years. I don't know if he ever resolved it, but send him a link to this topic.

IIRC, he found his was dripping from the supercharger snout from over-filling. I was thinking maybe the same thing, until I saw that it'* an '04 so that rules out the SSEi.
