Default Low tire pressure..........every day???

Anyone else have the "check tire pressure" indicator show up on the DIC at every start?? I've checked all tires and inflated them to the recommended psi. Is this another bad sensore deal?? I believe I've replaced every dang sensor in this car in the three months I've owned it, lol!! Just curious.

Joe.

Try this Joe.......Goto tire pressure on the DIC and hold the reset for at least 10-20 seconds.

Mine told me pressure was low because I got new tires (computer calculated different RPM with newer tire size) until I reset the DIC.

Cool, thanks briain, I'll give it a try. It started happening after I swapped out my wheels (for the second time). Although it didnt happen the first time I swapped them out, but I guess that really doesnt mean anything. I'll definately try the reset. Thanks again.

you have to hold the button down for what seems to be ENTIRELY too long of a period of time before it resets

Yeah, I put new tires on my car about a year ago, and pulled out of the place and I got the same light. I just held down the button for about 10 seconds or so, and no more light. I hear it is supposed to come back on again if there really is a problem though.

If you have the "Check Tire Pressure" warning on start up, this means you had it on shutdown. The DIC won't generate the warning with the car at stand still conditions. If you press up the tires to all the same pressures and then after driving for 10-15 minutes get the warning, that would be a problem to address.

I believe the reset did the trick! Thanks for the easy fix fellas. I'll keep you posted if it comes back.
