Thanks for all the replies, This a great board.

I did forget to mention that the car has 56k on it.

I flushed the old dexcool out last year.

I called the parts store today and found varying prices on the fel pro intake gasket set.

Auto Zone had the lowest price on the same part # FelPro Lower intake Gasket set =$37.99

Everybody else, Orieleys, an independent, Advance Auto parts all wanted 57.99 or more.

So looking at the engine, basically Im removing the supercharger first, appx 9 bolts , then the lower intake? Right

A coworker mentioned changing the supercharger oil... :? . Is that recommended?

How about a spark plug recommedation for this Stock Bonny?

So if Im buying the intake set I need that and..

fuel injector o rings,
Throttle body gasket,
Supercharger gasket set,
Valve cover gaskets

a little patience

a cool drink...

Don't forget the coolant elbows.

Update on my progress, All is finished, I have a few thoughts about this project looking back on it. I'll think when I get time I'll do a separate write up with pix. Thanks again everybody

Was that downshot view of the LIM before or after the job. I still see coolant stain in the #1 cylinder position. :?

Give us some more info.

Ya....we need more info.

Please tell me you replaced the LIM gaskets. The by-pass elbow looks to be broken. Did you flush the Dex out?

Glad to see you replaced the valve cover gaskets.

As bad as I hate to admit it that was after the new gasket install. It had been a long day. I had a buddy helping me do clean up and gasket scraping, but Im certainly not blaming him. I did wipe most of that slop off after I took the pic so I could watch it after repair and check for leaks, Im so embarassed....

I know alot of you guys are particular about how your engine looks under your hood, even my buddy who was helping me routinely cleans his engine, but I never really got into the habit of degreasing or cleaning my engine. I had a couple of situations that caused spark misfires after washing an engine and it left an impression on me. So.... I usually just leave the outside of the engine alone. ...

Now the paint and interior...thats another story

Like I said guys , thanks for all your help on this one.

So far on this forum,

Ive sealed my 3rd brake light

lubed my itermediate shaft, twice

Replaced my LIM and Supercharger gasket,,,

put my belt on correctly...

Learned alot about the Bonny,

Im still learning

If you skeered, say you skeered,...

But as far as doing my own maintenance on this thing...I aint skeered

Yes I did replace the LIM gasket.

I replaced both of the coolant elbows, and Im not sure if that one is broken or not but It got a new one,

And I replaced the dex cool last year with a serious flushing.

Thanks
