After spending many hours trying to find a cross ref # for a K&N Oil Filter for my 2003 Bonneville SE, on this site and others, even the K&N Site themselves had ONLY the Air Filter Part#! I resorted to the local Auto Parts Distributer for help and got it.

So... for those interested in it, here it is... K&N Part# HP-1001. ($9.99 U.*.) This fits most all the V6 3800 Series II Engines.

Why couldn't I find this information faster? Guess I was asking the wrong questions and going to the wrong places.

I'm now using Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil with K&N Oil Filter and K&N Air Filter. Next Oil change I'm thinking of Amsoil... Any recommendations otherwise? :P

10 bucks for a filter? Wow....

AC Delco (Made by Wix) 2.00 works just as well. Mobil 1 Synth is the best bang for the buck for everyday oil.
