Dumb question time. My key fob has a slot that looks like all you need to do is insert a screwdriver and twist to open. Is this the correct way to open the key fob to replace the batteries? I would hate to wreck the fob as it probably cost $100.00.
The fob must have pressed up against something in my travel bag while I was in Salt Lake City this past week and drained the battery.

I had to buy new FoB'* for mine... $38.00 each from the Dealer. Not a bad price really. I probably could have looked around more and found them cheaper or on EBay, but didn't want to hassle the small difference it might have been. Anyway, the cost in gas, phone calls and valuable personal time not really worth the extra trouble.
$2.99 for a replacement CR-2032 Battery for future reference is also noted.
