I bought a shaft at CarQuest over a year ago and it'* still working fine. Maybe it'* because I replaced the wheel bearings at the same time? Bad wheel bearings will kill a shaft if you drive it like that. It just goes to show you all the aftermarket shafts aren't junk.

Fbody - you bought an intermediate steering shaft at CarQuest? That'* the first we've heard that there is an after-market part. Is it the double D design, or the older shaft with the spines?

How does the wheel hub affect on the steering shaft? Or are you speaking of the axle or half shaft?
